- Each pulse of the laser takes only a fraction of a second and can treat several strands of hair at one time. To give you more context, the laser can treat the hair in the upper lip in less than a minute. Larger areas such as the back or legs may take up to an hour or so.

- After around three to seven sessions, most patients experience permanent hair loss in the targeted areas.

If you currently have a significant amount of acne or you have very dark skin, you may not be a candidate for laser resurfacing.
